Cascina Garitin (Merlot – Cabernet S. – Barbera)
Merlot after a partial de-stemming, runs a cold maceration (8 ° C) for about 3 days, then heated to 30 ° C and s’inoculano yeasts. Barbera and Cabernet fermentation and maceration last about 20 days, followed by the malolactic fermentation in steel. The different wines were aged in new wood separately and for varying periods: Merlot 16 months, 20 months Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon 24 months. Rare and old grape variety, grown on the hills of Verduno from which it takes the name of origin. Light ruby red color with pink accents, assumes orange hues with aging. Lively and spicy aroma with cherry when young. You notice a spicy scent of white pepper, very good pairing with meats, pasta dishes and foods with mushrooms. It should be consumed at a temperature of 17/18 ° C.

Az. La Pieve
At achieve of the right ripeness of the Syrah grapes in La Pieve vineyards, these are harvested and then destemmed and soft-pressed. To this follows an alcoholic fermentation in concrete vats at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in order to obtain the typical fruity notes of this grape.
